Privacy Policy

Account data. When you sign in with Apple, we receive your email address (which may be a private relay address) and create a user ID. You also choose a username.

Location data. When you create a zone, we store the coordinates of your zone center and the grid positions of your territory. We use OpenStreetMap (Nominatim) to determine your country and city for the leaderboard. We do not continuously track your location — it is only used at the moment you place your zone.

Focus session data. We store the start time, duration, and tag of each focus session to calculate your stats, streak, and coin rewards.

Zone and building data. Your zone shape, placed buildings, colors, and zone level are stored to render your territory on the map.

Purchase data. If you buy coins or a premium subscription, the transaction is processed by Apple (App Store) and RevenueCat. We store a record of coin credits to your account. We do not see or store your payment details.

We do not use analytics or tracking SDKs. We do not collect your name, phone number, physical address, contacts, photos, or health data. We do not track you across other apps or websites. We do not show ads.

We use the following services to operate the App:

• Supabase (database and authentication) — stores your account and game data. Privacy policy
• RevenueCat (subscription and purchase management) — manages premium subscriptions and coin purchases. Privacy policy
• Apple Sign In (authentication) — handles sign-in. Privacy policy
• OpenStreetMap / Nominatim (reverse geocoding) — determines country and city from coordinates when you place a zone. Privacy policy

These services may process data as described in their own privacy policies. We do not sell or share your personal data with any other third parties.

Your data is stored on Supabase servers. Data may be processed in the European Union and/or the United States.

We keep your data for as long as you have an account. If you delete your account (available in Settings), all your data — including your zone, buildings, focus sessions, and profile — is permanently deleted from our database.

You can:

• View your data — your profile, stats, and zone are visible in the app.
• Update your data — change your username and colors in Settings.
• Delete your data — delete your entire account in Settings. This is permanent and cannot be undone.
• Contact us — email us at hello@focuscity.app for any privacy-related questions or requests.

If you are in the European Union, you also have rights under the GDPR including the right to access, rectification, erasure, data portability, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens in the Netherlands).

Focus City is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
